About Josh Sebolt:

Josh Sebolt is a Technical Consultant in Overhead Transmission for Burns & McDonnell in Kansas City, MO. He has been in the civil engineering industry for 19 years, working on projects in twenty-four states and Canada. Josh has worked on transmission and distribution projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV AC and ±320kV DC.  He is a member of ASCE 48, Vice Chair of ASCE’s Electrical Transmission Structures Committee overseeing Manual of Practices, NESC Subcommittee 5, Vice Chair of IEEE NESC WG7 as well as active in other IEEE groups. Josh has presented at the Transmission & Substation Design & Operation Symposium (TSDOS) several times, as well as presenting a poster at ASCE’s Electrical Transmission & Substation Structures Conference. Josh brings a unique perspective having previously worked in the bridge engineering field. He received his BSCE from the University of Missouri and is a licensed professional engineer.
